Soul Machines and Madera Residential’s technology subsidiary Quext, launch “Mia,” a fully autonomous, AI-driven Digital Hero.

AUCKLAND, New Zealand, February 5, 2020  — Soul Machines, the ground-breaking company re-imagining how humans collaborate with machines, and Madera Residential’s technology subsidiary Quext, announce “Mia,” a fully autonomous, AI-driven Digital Hero who will be an integral part of Madera’s customer experience. Mia, Madera’s first digital employee accumulates experiences, learns, and responds to customers individually through experiential learning, adding human-like intelligence to AI. Mia uses an AI-powered Digital Brain to engage personally with customers and will work alongside Madera’s leasing agents to deliver personalized customer experience, 24/7.

“We’re so excited to partner with Soul Machines. We’re excited to take the leap  that brings the apartment living community experience into a super-future minded way of doing things,” remarked John McNelly, Chief Marketing Officer, Madera Residential/Quext. “The idea is to solve for missed opportunities where we have an industry average of around 50 percent of phone calls that go unanswered.”

Using Soul Machines Digital DNA™ technology, Mia’s synthetic makeup was produced from a digital gene pool, which allowed Madera Residential to construct the Digital Hero that most accurately represents both the company’s core values and its customers.

“We’re hearing from our Quext development team and the initial property team that they are excited to welcome Mia into the family,” explained Dave Marcinkowski, Partner, Madera Residential. Mia helps eliminate some of the mundane repetitive questions that take up valuable time so that Madera’s leasing agents can focus on building relationships with residents, forming community events and closing deals with prospects.

“It’s been a great experience working with Madera Residential as they pave the way for the use of AI-technology in the real-estate space,” stated Greg Cross, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer, Soul Machines. “We’ve been able to design Madera Residential’s Digital Hero Mia, to not only attract new prospects but provide Madera’s current customers with 24/7 availability.”

Mia is designed to help prospects and residents with everything from showing specific models of current available apartments to scheduling property tours and answering questions from prospects in her day-to-day function and began her employment at Madera this week.
