‘Soul Machines’ Are CGI Characters That Can Think – Greg Cross talks to NBC LX

May 12th, 2021
Our Co-founder and Chief Business Officer, Greg Cross was featured on NBC LX, following our announcement of our partnership with NBA all-star Carmelo Anthony to create his digital twin. In this interview, Greg talks about our exciting new announcement, why characters that follow a script isn’t sustainable in the long run, and how enabling CGI characters to be autonomously animated can change how humans and machines interact.

We heard from Greg Cross, the creator of these “digital people,” and NBA player Carmelo Anthony, who is having a digital likeness of himself created.
